Rendamkan kacang dal putih selama 2 jam.<br \/>\n2. Bersihkan dan toskan. kisar sehingga halus.<br \/>\n3. Tambah sedikit air untuk mengisar. Jangan menambah lebih banyak air, ia akan merosakkan vadai.<br \/>\n4. Ambil adunan yang mengisar tadi dalam mangkuk dan masukkan bawang besar, cili hijau, jintan manis, daun kari dan soda bikarbonat.<br \/>\n5. Gaulkan hingga sebati dan perasakan dengan garam. rehatkan sekurang-kurangnya 1\/2 jam.<br \/>\n6. Panaskan minyak dengan api sederhana.<br \/>\n7. Bentukkan adunan vadai seperti donat dan gorengkan sehingga kekuningan.<br \/>\n8.
